As part of efforts to reduce the housing deficit of the Ghana Police Service, over 1,000 housing units have been constructed and are either being occupied or ready for occupation by service men and women.

A Member of the National Communication Team of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Fahd Osman who disclosed this on TV3's Debate Arena, Fahd Osman praised President Akufo-Addo and added that the Tamale-Yendi-Bimbilla road which also leads to the towns is currently under construction.

According to him, aside from the Yendi road which is currently under construction, many roads have been constructed.

He mentioned that the construction of these roads has made it easier for farmers to transport their produce to the main cities, reducing the high cost of food prices.   "This is what we are doing as a government to improve the economic growth of the country through the provision of infrastructure development" Fahd Osman stated.
