The former Minority Chief Whip, Mohammed Muntaka Mubarak, has stated that he harbors no bitterness after being relieved of his position in Parliament by his party.
The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Asawase Constituency and former member of Parliament's leadership, Hon.
Muntaka Mubarak Mohammed, described the process of his removal in 2023, along with the then Minority Leader, Haruna Iddrisu, as a "coup d'état." He believes the manner and procedure through which the party leadership implemented the decision were disrespectful to both him and Haruna Iddrisu.
Muntaka revealed that he was neither formally nor informally informed about their removal, only learning of it through a radio broadcast.
