Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Former President John Dramani Mahama says choosing the NDC in the December elections is crucial to change the direction of the leadership of the country.
In his view, this election presents an opportunity to improve Ghana's fortunes.
In a Facebook post after addressing a gathering in the Nsawam Adoagyiri constituency on Monday, November 18, Mr Mahama said "A shift in leadership is needed, urgently, to tackle the challenges arising from the mismanagement of the economy, the incompetence and corruption in high places. This is the time to Build the Ghana We Want Together." He further stated that "In 2016 we made a wrong choice, in 2020 we repeated that choice but I know that on 7th December 2024, we are going to correct the mistake that we made and bring NDC back into government." "…At all times, everyone wants a good life and development.
There are consequences to our choices: if we vote well, there will be freedom and development; but if we don't, there will be hardships.
