The final poll by Global InfoAnalytics for the December 7th 2024 elections shows the former president and National Democratic Congress' candidate, John Dramani Mahama, is highly tipped to win the elections. Polling Company Global InfoAnalytics released the final national poll conducted between 11th-16th November placing John Mahama at 51.9%, suggesting a straight win with Vice president Dr Mahamudu Bawumia in second place with 40.5%, Nana Kwame Bediako come third with 4.7%, Alan Kyerematen on 2.1% and all others at 0.7%. Less than three weeks before Ghanaians head to the polls, the poll think tank said the survey shows that Mr.
Mahama has a steady lead above the threshold required to avoid a runoff. The poll shows that while the race has tightened in the swing regions of Greater Accra, Central and Western region, the Akan and the northern regions appear to be deteriorating for the ruling party less than three weeks before Ghanaians head to the polls. According to the polls, in the swing regions, JDM is on 51.1%, DMB 39.5%, AKK, 2.0%, NKB, 7.0% and others, 0.4%.
In the Akans regions, DMB leads with 46.6%, JDM, 44.5%, AKK, 2.6%, NKB, 5.6% and others, 0.9%.
In the Northern regions, JDM leads 64.7%, DMB 33.9%, AKK, 0.7% and NKB, 0.7% and in the Volta and Oti regions, JDM leads with 72.7%, DMB, 19.7%, AKK, 2.2% NKB, 3.3% and other, 2.2%.
