Ghana coach Otto Addo has responded to growing calls for his resignation following the Black Stars' disappointing 2-1 loss to Niger in their final Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

Addo, who has faced criticism for Ghana's failure to qualify for next year's tournament, made it clear that he has no intention of stepping down. "I'm not the person who can resign.

If I had done this, I would never have become a player or even a coach," Addo stated after Monday's game at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The Black Stars' failure to secure a single victory in the qualifiers, finishing bottom of Group F, has placed Addo's future under intense scrutiny.
