The Minority in Parliament has called on President Akufo-Addo to establish an independent commission of inquiry to investigate the alleged distribution of contaminated rice to Senior High Schools (SHS) across the country.

The opposition MPs, led by North Tongu MP Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, argue that the Ministry of Education cannot be trusted to conduct an impartial probe into the matter.
