Godwin Parko, a 25-year-old former student at Keta Senior High Technical School (Ketasco), has been found dead at Havedzi in the Keta Municipality of the Volta Region.
The body of the deceased was discovered in the early hours of Sunday, at about 0500 hours, along Havedzi-Anlo Afiadenyigba road.
Mr Raphael Normegbor, the Assembly member of Havedzi-Xorvi Electoral Area, in an interview with the Ghana News Agency, said that residents were in the state of shock after the unfortunate incident. "I received a call on Sunday morning from a resident about a man who allegedly committed suicide along the Havedzi-Anlo Afiadenyigba road and was discovered by a passerby," he stated.
He also stated that further information gathered indicated that the deceased was a former student of Ketasco who dropped out from school in form two due to some domestic issues.
