Deputy Imam of the National Mosque, Imam Alhaji Mohammed Awal Shuaib Alhassan, has admonished Ghanaians to continue to foster peace, compassion and love.
Delivering a Khutbah (sermon) before leading the congregation for Jumah (Friday) prayers at the National Mosque in Accra last Friday, Imam Alhassan said "let us work together to create a culture of peace on the principles of justice, compassion and love ." Imam Alhassan, whose sermon was on "We want Peace," admonished Ghanaians to be peaceful at all times and show love and compassion to one another so that Allah will have mercy on the country and bless the country with abundance of prosperity.
Imam Alhassan offered prayers to the security agencies for Allah to strengthen them to be fair and firm in the discharge of their duties for the country to remain peaceful and stable.
The Deputy Imam of the National Mosque, added that "Today we gather in this masjid seeking peace, guidance and tranquility.
