The Electoral Commission (EC) has commenced the nationwide transfer of ballot papers and election materials to designated holding centers across the country as part of preparations for the upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections.

The six-day exercise began in Accra on Thursday, November 14, with the movement of parliamentary ballots from printing facilities in the North Industrial Area to the Greater Accra Regional Police Command.

In the Upper East Region, ballot papers have been securely stored in the armory of the Regional Police Headquarters in Bolgatanga.
