A record number of 9,394 Ghanaians are studying in the United States (US) for the 2023-2024 academic year.
This is according to the details of the 2024 Open Doors Report published by the US Embassy in Accra.
The embassy indicated that Ghana is among the top 25 countries across the world contributing more international students to the US for 2024, ranking 18th.
The report showed that a total of 9,394 Ghanaians studied in the United States in the 2023-2024 academic year, which represents an increase of 45.2 percent and an all-time record high.
