Colonel Jacob Codjoe, has issued a passionate appeal to Ghanaians to prioritise peace before and after the polls.

Speaking at a forum in Oda, he urged citizens to act responsibly to preserve the peace and stability that have become hallmarks of Ghana's democracy.

He explained that an election is a democratic process for the selection of leaders and must not be used as a vehicle to sow seeds of discord among Ghanaians "If you go to the polling station, just cast your vote, go home, and rest.
