The Coalition of Hygiene Students, Ghana, have announced plans to picket at the Ministry of Sanitation and Water Resources on Tuesday, November 19, 2024.

The demonstration is intended to demand the posting of graduates and the payment of outstanding allowances dating back to 2021.

In an interview with Channel One TV on Monday, November 18, 2024, Fred Awine Atinga, the General Secretary of the coalition, stated that several petitions to the government have yielded no results.

He emphasised that graduates from various disciplines, including environmental health, occupational health and safety, and occupational therapy, have been neglected by the government for years. "We have been with the Ministry of Water and Sanitation for the past four years; they will tell us to go, we are working on it.
