Ghanaian musician and songwriter, Stay Jay, has voiced his concerns about the current state of songwriting in the country's music industry.
Speaking in an exclusive interview interview with AJ Sarpong on 3FM Lounge on Monday, November 18, 2024, the artist argued that many songwriters lack the true essence of the craft.
He described songwriting as a demanding art form that requires divine talent.
Comparing it to a spiritual calling, he stated that excelling in songwriting goes beyond ordinary skills."Songwriting is not easy… I don't think a lot of people are writers.
