The opposition (NDC) has issued a strong warning that it will resist any attempt by President Nana Addo Akufo-Addo to cling to power if the party wins the December 7 polls. Mr. Mustapha Gbande, the Deputy General Secretary in Charge of Operations for the NDC, emphasized the party's readiness to take decisive action if necessary, stating, "We will arrest Nana Akufo-Addo like a fowl and force him to hand over power to the NDC." Mr. Gbande stressed that elections reflect the will of the people, and if the electorate decides that the hardships imposed by the current administration are enough, the President must be prepared to leave office.
