The Progressive People Party's parliamentary candidate for Ashaiman Mantey Emmanuel Felix has urged Ghanaian voters to elect candidates from other political parties apart from the NDC and NPP to parliament in order to bring some stability and balance in the legislature.
According to him, having MPs from other political parties in the parliament would create a third caucus that would offer the needed balance for the legislature. "I urge every Ghanaian wherever you are to vote for the PPP parliamentary candidates and those from other parties to get a third caucus in Parliament even if at least we are seven.
If only we had a third caucus, some of these things would not happen" he mentioned as one of the solutions to the ongoing confusion in parliament over which group constitutes the majority.
He opined that the absence of a third caucus in Ghana's parliament is one of the things militating against the country's budding democracy.
