The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr.

George Akuffo Dampare, has issued a stern warning to Ghanaians to avoid any form of misconduct as the elections approach.

Speaking at the commissioning of a new police station in Akyem-Manso in the Eastern Region, Dr.

Dampare emphasised that anyone caught engaging in electoral malpractice will face severe legal consequences. "Do not be tempted to cause trouble during the elections, because my officers will not hesitate to act," he warned.
