Celebrated Ghanaian singer and Songwriter, Kwame Nsiah-Apau, professionally known as Okyeame Kwame has revealed that he was approached by John Alan Kyerematen, the Presidential Candidate for the Movement for Change, to serve as his running mate for the 2024 elections.
The revelation, which he said occurred about three months ago, was made during an interview with Kwame Dadzie on Joy FM's Showbiz A-Z.
According to him, the invitation came during an event in Kumasi, where Alan reached out to request a meeting in Accra.
During their conversation in Accra, the presidential candidate outlined the qualities he sought in a running mate, which Okyeame Kwame found flattering."He espoused 10 criteria for the person he was looking for to be his vice.
