Ghana have failed to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco following a disappointing 1-1 draw against Angola on Friday.  The Black Stars took the lead through a stunning free kick from Jordan Ayew, but Angola, the dominant side, equalised to end Ghana's qualification hopes.

Ayew's moment of brilliance came in the 18th minute when his perfectly executed free kick dipped past the goalkeeper, giving Ghana a much-needed boost after a series of underwhelming performances in their previous four games.

Ghana managed to hold onto the lead through solid defending, with Manaf Nurudeen making a crucial penalty save to keep the scoreline intact at halftime.

However, Angola's dominance paid off in the second half when substitute Zini, left unmarked in the box, headed in the equaliser to seal Ghana's fate.
