Brazil were forced to settle for a 1-1 draw against Venezuela in a thrilling South American 2026 World Cup qualifier on Thursday.
Despite dominating possession, the five-time World Cup champions failed to secure all three points after Telasco Segovia's second-half stunner cancelled out Raphinha's brilliant opener.
Brazil struck first in the 43rd minute when Raphinha's precise free-kick curled off the post and into the net, marking Brazil's first World Cup qualifying free-kick goal since Roberto Carlos in 2005.
Venezuela, however, responded just 38 seconds into the second half as Segovia unleashed a powerful first-time strike from Jefferson Savarino's assist, levelling the match.
