The Flagbearer of the (NDC), , has taken a swipe at President Akufo-Addo for unveiling a statue in his honour despite his inability to complete critical developmental projects.

Speaking during a mini rally in Ajofua in the Bia West constituency, the former president said that while the NPP was quick to host high-profile ceremonies and unveil statues, they have struggled to follow through on actual project completions that impact the lives of Ghanaians.

In the last few weeks, there has been an uproar over the dedication of a statue at Effia-Nkwanta roundabout in Takoradi honouring President Akufo-Addo for his contributions to the Western Region's development.
