Nathaniel Some kidney patients who rely on dialysis for survival have had their conditions deteriorated following the temporary closure of the Renal Unit at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital. Nathaniel Adansi, an end stage kidney patient is one of the patients. His health has deteriorated. It is the case that 13.3% of people are reported to be living with chronic kidney conditions in Ghana requiring constant dialysis for survival. The closure of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital Renal Unit has worsened the plights of some patients as seeking dialysis services at private facilities comes at exorbitant fees. 34-year-old Nathaniel Adansi is an assembly man living with kidney condition.
