The Speaker of , , has assured Ghanaians of his dedication to ensuring peace in the country before, during, and after the upcoming December 7, 2024, general elections.

During an engagement with the Ghana National Council of Private Schools (GNACOPS), who paid a courtesy call on him in to promote peace and unity during the election, the Speaker emphasised that his commitment to peace in the country is unwavering.

He assured the group that the election would be free, fair, credible, and peaceful, according to a report by 3news.com. "I'm more than committed to the peace of this nation," is quoted as saying.

He highlighted his efforts to promote peace, including organising a seminar in Tamale as part of the 30th anniversary of Ghana's parliamentary democracy celebrations, where experts helped the public appreciate the peace the country enjoys.
