Ghanaian music sensation OliveTheBoy, born  Joel Ofori Bonsu has shed light on the unique origins of his stage name and his connection to the color green.   Speaking on Asaase Radio's Rush Hour on November 6, 2024, the crooner discussed how his brand naturally aligns with his personality, revealing insights into his musical identity.During the interview, OliveTheBoy shared that his stage name came about organically and wasn't crafted with a specific backstory. "I thought to myself, if I come into an interview, they'd ask me, 'This OliveTheBoy name, how did you get it?

What was the inspiration?' And I wanted to cook up something… I didn't get anything," he admitted.

The 'Goodsin' singer went on to explain that his fondness for green is a personal preference, not part of a planned image. "I'm Olive.

Olive is green," he said, adding, "It was not intentional, though.
