The former Presiding Member of the Ga Central Municipal Assembly, George Adu Darko, has been accused of assigning the Olebu Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compound as an accommodation to a woman believed to be his girlfriend. This accusation was made by the Deputy Communications Officer for the (NDC) in Anyaa Sowutuom constituency, Ralph Apetorgbor, who indicated that the facility, which was meant to provide primary healthcare to residents, is now being misused for personal purposes. Apetorgbor added that the move raises significant ethical and administrative concerns. Apetorgbor further stated that two families affiliated with the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have been residing in the facility with their relations since 2017, following the transition of governance to the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia administration. He made these allegations on TV3's Community Manifesto on Monday, and monitored by GhanaWeb.
