Former president of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, is of the view that the issues in Parliament need to be settled out of court.

He holds the opinion that the President should have asked his leader in Parliament to withdraw the case from the court and rather settle it amicably.

The former President made his position on the matter known when he met the clergy in the Ashanti Region. "If I were President, I would have solved this issue out of court.

I would have asked Afenyo Markin to take the issues out of court and call the NDC leadership and some leading pastors and some revered members of the council of state so that we iron out the issues so that Parliament can continue its work.
