Day in and day out, the population in Accra keeps increasing as several youths move from rural areas to urban parts so they won't miss out on the opportunities the cities offer. Perfect Vedomon, after completing senior high school in 2018, took the bold step of raising money on his own to fund his tertiary education. Speaking on Everyday People with GhanaWeb's, Eugenia Diabah, Perfect said he engaged in a couple of jobs in the Volta Region, but no matter how hard he worked, he wasn't earning enough money to save for school. Unable to thrive in the situation, he decided to move to Accra in 2020 to achieve his goal. "A few years ago, I was not in Accra; I was in the Volta Region. Things are moving better within Accra than in the deprived areas, so we needed to move ahead.
