A security analyst, Dr Adam Bonaa, wants the NPP flagbearer, Dr Mahamudu Bawumi, to openly condemn the deployment of military personnel to voting centres during elections. The country has, during elections, seen military personnel at voting centres, threatening peace and stability.

Many stakeholders have openly chastised the government while calling for non-deployment of the military in the upcoming elections.Speaking in an interview on 3FM Sunrise morning show on November 11, Dr Adam Bonaa said it is time for the Vice President to hold the bull by the horns."I want to hear the NPP flagbearer also make the clarion call to the military that they are not needed anywhere near a polling centre.

Senior military personnel agree with me on this." Dr.

Bonaa stated. Many Ghanaians believe the Ghana Police Service is well-resourced to handle activities before, during and after the polls, adding that the continual deployment of the military during such exercises should be discouraged.Touching on former President John Mahama's assertion that he will not petition the Supreme Court over the outcome of the upcoming elections, Dr Bonaa said "Per the comment and ruling of the former justice of the Supreme Court, Rtd Justice Atuguba, you don't go to court to win an election.
