The Volta Regional Women's Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Fafa Delphia Agbai, has called on the party's constituency women's organizers to close their ranks as the last days of campaign activities draw closer. She is urging the Women's Wing of the party to embrace unity and collaboration to ensure the party wins the December 7, polls. At a ceremony held to present campaign materials and logistics to all the 18 constituency women's organizers in Ho, the Regional Women's Organizer, Fafa Agbai underscored the role of women in executing the campaign, stressing the need for absolute commitment from the rank and file of the party."We want to reset this country because we as women, we are suffering; we can't feed our children, but it is important we remain united at all levels to be able to execute this campaign together."She presented campaign materials ranging from wheelchairs, party branded T-shirts, scarves, aprons, bowls and other party paraphernalia to the constituency women organizers to enhance campaign activities across the Volta region. She stressed that, the presentation of the items was necessary because "you go everywhere and people are asking for T-shirts and other party paraphernalia, they (women organizers) go out there and they cannot talk to people because they don't have these things to give them to be able to go close and talk to them so this is just to aid them as they go back to intensify the campaign."With barely 27 days to the December 7, election, the Volta Regional Women's Organizer announced that the Women's Wing will intensify campaign activities particularly in market centers to canvass votes for all parliamentary candidates in the region and the party's flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama.By Faisel Abdul-Iddrisu
