An old video footage has resurfaced showing Colonel , Ghana's military ruler, arriving in Togo for an official visit to the country in 1973.
The visit by Kutu Acheampong, President of Ghana's National Redemption Council, was aimed at strengthening the relationship and cooperation between the two neighboring countries, which had been signed by the two leaders.
Leading a 30-man delegation, Kutu Acheampong and his entourage were ceremoniously welcomed by the then Togolese President, Gnassingbé Eyadéma, at the Aflao border.
Ghanaians living in Togo at the time gathered in large numbers at the event to witness the remarkable moment between the two countries.
