A total of 11 Technical and Se­nior High Schools (SHS) in the Central Region yesterday received Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) equip­ment from Camfed Ghana to enhance practical learning. The equipment worth over GH¢400, 000 would provide practical, hands-on experience to complement theoretical knowledge. The beneficiary schools include, Abakrampa SHTS, Aburaman SHS, Asuansi Technical institute, Nsaba SHS, Kwanyako SHS, and Method­ist SHS. The rest were Mankesim SHS, Kwegyir Aggrey SHS, Ekumfi TI Ahmadiyya SHS, Mozano SHS and Gomoa SHTS. Opening one of the science laboratories, the National Director, CAMFED Ghana, Ms Fairuza Sa­fian, said "Our goal is to create an enabling environment for effective teaching and learning and we also want students to gain the practical knowledge, not just theoretical understanding, so they can excel in their studies and beyond." According to her an interactive and modern tools could make learning more engaging and excit­ing, motivating students to explore STEM subjects deeply.
