Elrad Amoako, the 16-year-old son of Archbishop Salifu Amoako, has been remanded in custody once again after appearing before the Accra Juvenile Court.

Elrad is facing eight charges, including manslaughter, negligent harm, dangerous driving, and driving without a license, after a tragic incident on October 12, 2024, in East Legon that claimed two lives.

According to Assistant State Attorney Ebenezer Yaw Acquah, Elrad's family frequently allowed him access to their vehicles despite his young age and lack of a driving license.

The events unfolded following a birthday party held for his brother at an event center in East Legon, where Elrad reportedly asked Linda Bonsu Bempah, a family friend, for the keys to his mother's Jaguar F-Pace.
