Torgbi Korkudjaah Boafo-Tamakloe, the Chief of Akatsavakpor in the Klikor traditional area of the Volta Region, has called on Ghanaians to embrace peace and unity, highlighting them as essential pillars for the socio-economic progress of society.

Speaking at a colourful durbar to mark the 10th anniversary of the area's Kente festival on Saturday, October 26, Torgbi Korkudjaah Boafo-Tamakloe emphasized that no community could achieve meaningful progress in an atmosphere of chaos.

He urged unity and mutual respect among all members of society. "The challenges we face are rooted in greed and self-seeking attitudes, which only divide us and hinder our collective growth," the chief remarked, calling for a change in the current mindset.

He encouraged the people of Akatsavakpor and the larger Klikor traditional area to embrace positive changes in their attitudes and take charge of their own destinies.
