The Deputy National Youth Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Osman Ayariga, has issued a stern warning that they will make the country ungovernable for government within the next three months if it fails to address the prevailing hardship. Speaking at a rally on Saturday, August 10, Mr Ayariga expressed deep frustration over the current state of affairs, citing widespread economic hardship, unemployment, and lack of basic services as major issues facing Ghanaians. Mr Ayariga, known for his outspoken stance on social justice, emphasised that the youth are particularly disillusioned with the government's inability to provide sustainable solutions to the country's problems. He argued that the continued neglect of the people's needs would inevitably lead to civil unrest, as more citizens lose faith in the government's capacity to govern effectively. Mr Ayariga further accused the government of being out of touch with the realities on the ground, stating that the leadership has failed to deliver on its promises.
