Outgoing Assin Central Member of Parliament (MP), Kennedy Agyapong, has spoken out against the escalating turmoil within Ghana's Parliament, where a fierce clash between the majority and minority parties has emerged, challenging not only the Speaker of Parliament but also the authority of the Supreme Court.

At the center of the crisis is a standoff over the parliamentary majority, which Agyapong fears may disrupt the nation's stability if not resolved with collaboration and mutual respect.

Speaking at a media briefing, Agyapong expressed alarm over recent actions by New Patriotic Party (NPP) MPs, who have boycotted sessions in response to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) asserting majority control in Parliament.

Despite a Supreme Court ruling meant to address this, the NDC insists on its majority, intensifying tensions.
