Ghana's Parliament will reconvene today, Thursday, November 7, 2024, at 10:00 AM at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre, following a recall by Speaker Alban Bagbin.

The session aims to address critical issues that have stalled due to an escalating standoff between the Majority and Minority caucuses.

The impasse began with Speaker Bagbin's declaration of four parliamentary seats-Fomena, Amenfi Central, Suhum, and Agona West-as vacant.

This decision, which the Majority caucus decried as undermining their representation, prompted Majority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin to file a legal challenge with the Supreme Court.
