Members of Parliament (MPs) from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have once again occupied the majority side-the right-hand side of the Speaker-intensifying tensions with the New Patriotic Party (NPP) MPs over which party holds the majority in Parliament.

Thursday morning's session, scheduled for Thursday, November 7, 2024, at 10:00 AM at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre, marks Parliament's first reconvening after Speaker Alban Bagbin's recall.

The session aims to address pressing legislative matters that have been stalled by escalating tensions between the Majority and Minority caucuses.

Arriving early, NDC MPs took their seats on the majority side, traditionally reserved for the caucus with majority members.
