The National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) and the Inter-Party Dialogue Committee (IPDC) in the South Tongu District have taken a significant step towards promoting peaceful elections in the district.

On Sunday, 3rd November 2024, the NCCE district director, Seth Fiagorme, led a team to engage with churches in Tefle, including The Church of Pentecost, The Presbyterian Church of Ghana, and Global Evangelical Church.

This initiative aims to educate the public on the negative effects of money in politics and promote violence-free elections, among other objectives.

In his address at The Church of Pentecost, Seth Fiagorme stated that Ghana's democracy has been relatively stable due to our collective efforts, and there is an urgent need for us to contribute to its sustenance.
