The Country Director for the Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) in Ghana, Judith Oluwole Kuwornu has addressed concerns by actress Gloria Sarfo over challenges some Ghanaian filmmakers encountered with their flight ticket en route to Nigeria for the awards ceremony.Gloria Sarfo in a video on Instagram on November 4 criticised AMAA for giving out ingenuine flight ticket to the Ghanaian invitees, leaving them stranded and embarrassed at the airport just when they were about boarding their flights to the awards ceremony. The ceremony was held over the weekend on November 2 and November 3, 2024.Reacting to the matter in an interview on Hitz FM, Judith expressed remorse for the embarrassment the Ghanaian personalities were made to go through.According to her, she has apologised to Gloria Sarfo for the unfortunate incident."I have sent her a message of apology but she kept on doing this but that's her problem.

I mean we are different people from different backgrounds, where we come from and how we are trained.

I'm sorry this happened.

I'm also sorry that it's going this way."Because [this is] somebody that is close to me and could not have communicated with me. 'Judith, what happened?' and all that.
