Celebrated Ghanaian Reggae and Dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy has addressed speculation surrounding a potential remix of his song "Jejereje" featuring fellow artist Skrewfaze, explaining why he believes a collaboration wouldn't be beneficial beyond its novelty.
Speaking with Nana Ama McBrown on Onua Showtime on Sunday, November 3, 2024, the reining VGMA Artiste of the Year clarified his stance, noting that a remix with Skrewfaze "would only be for the niceness of it." Despite the interest from fans, he emphasized that such a collaboration lacks commercial appeal in the current market. "If I had called him for a feature, it would just be for the niceness.
But for the Skrewfaze feature, it will not bring any further commercial factor in the geographical location where we find ourselves," he stated. The crooner further highlighted the practical considerations behind his music projects, stressing the importance of aligning with his management to assess commercial potential.
