The General Secretary of the (NPP), Justin Kodua Frimpong, has warned government appointees in the Bono Region, cautioning them against neglecting their duties towards their constituents. Kodua, who recently concluded a tour of the region, expressed his dissatisfaction with the behavior of some appointees who, according to him, have lost touch with the grassroots. Taking to social media, the NPP Secretary shared his concerns, stating, "Regional Tour Update: Feedback from my tour of the Bono Region shows that some appointees have lost touch with their base. Don't force me to start mentioning names; do the needful," Kodua wrote in a post on social media. Meanwhile, the NPP is focused on retaining power in the upcoming 2024 election and is also striving to secure a majority of MPs in Parliament, following the recent challenges posed by the hung parliament situation.
