A communication officer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Central Region, Gabriella Tetteh, has taken a swipe at a communications team member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Ekua Amoakoh over remarks questioning the NDC government's investment in the police service.

Speaking on Good Morning Ghana on Metro TV on November 4, 2024, she emphasised that after eight years in government, the NPP should not be asking the NDC about their contributions to the security service.

Gabriella Tetteh stressed the need for rapid response to armed robbery incidents in the country rather than prolonged discussions that shift blame to the opposition party. "Immediately the report comes that there is an armed robbery, the system is supposed to pick it up.

You don't wait for 48 hours, and you come and give a long lecture that Bawumia has done this. "That is not the conversation we are having.
