John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has asserted that President Nana Akufo-Addo recognizes the likelihood of his party losing the upcoming election.
During a campaign event in Biakoye, Oti Region, as part of his tour, Mahama interpreted recent statements made by Akufo-Addo as an acknowledgement of the NDC's potential victory.
On Saturday, November 2, Akufo-Addo reassured Ghanaians that he would hand over power to the candidate who wins the December 7 election.
Mahama commenting on the statement suggested that these comments indicate the President is preparing for a possible transition of power. "One reason why you should vote for the NDC is, after we win, we will go after all persons who stole money from the public purse.
