The organizers of Ghana's Women in Worship concert, Genet Services, are preparing to take legal action against Nigerian gospel singer Ada Ehi after her failure to attend the event on Sunday, September 22, 2024, despite receiving a partial payment of $5,000.
Ada Ehi had been slated to perform alongside fellow Nigerian artist Mercy Chinwo and Ghanaian gospel icons Empress Gifty and Diana Hamilton, who headlined the concert.
However, according to Nana Asare, Media and Communications head for Women in Worship, there were issues from the start with Ehi's team, particularly concerning her performance fee.
In an interview with Feeling Daddy on Empire FM's Showbiz Today, Asare recounted, challenges began early with Ehi's team, especially regarding her fee.
