The President of the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC), Apostle Eric Nyamekye, has called on all stakeholders and political parties to prioritise the peace and well-being of Ghanaians as the country prepares for the 2024 general elections.
He made this appeal at the launch of the National Peace Campaign, the theme "Let Peace Prevail," held at the forecourt of the State House.
In his address, Apostle Nyamekye, urged stakeholders to avoid violence, emphasising the need for sacrifice, compromise, and intentional actions that will support peace and stability for Ghanaians throughout the election period and beyond. "We are gathered as one people.
It is not about our political differences, but about putting aside denominational barriers and religious restrictions and focusing instead on our shared identity as Ghanaians. "Over the years, the lord has been very gracious to Ghana in many respects, especially with regard to peace.
