Fiorentina announced that De Gea will be presented to the media on Monday, 12 August, though the length of his contract has not been disclosed. De Gea, who enjoyed a distinguished 13-year stint at Manchester United, made 545 appearances and was instrumental in the club's 2012-13 Premier League title win. His trophy cabinet at Old Trafford also includes two League Cups, one FA Cup, and the Europa League. After his contract with United ended in 2023, De Gea spent last season without a club.
