The Presidential Candidate of the , , has outlined his vision for the country, should Ghanaians grant him the mandate to lead in the pending December polls.
Addressing the media during the NDC's Governance Forum held on Thursday, October 31, in Accra, Mahama reiterated his commitment to ensuring good governance and building trust among Ghanaians by eradicating corruption.
According to Mahama, one of the major ways his next administration plans to combat corruption in the public sector is by reviewing and enforcing the asset declaration regime. "Our commitment is to review and enforce the asset declaration regime to promote transparency and combat corruption," he said.
Additionally, Mahama stated that members of his administration will be required to declare their assets within 30 days of assuming office, believing this will help promote transparency and help eradicate corruption. "In this regard, I will require all members of my administration to declare their assets within 30 days of assuming office," he said.
