In the latest update on violence linked to the ongoing Bawku conflict, two individuals were shot dead in an ambush while traveling by truck from Bawku.
According to a citinewsroom.com report, unidentified gunmen opened fire on the vehicle, resulting in the tragic deaths of both passengers.
The deceased include a Mamprusi man and a Togolese national.
Reports indicate that the Togolese victim had been in Bawku to care for his ailing father, who recently passed away.
