Director of Legal Affairs of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Godwin Edudzi Tameklo has said that all the facts, as put out by the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) in relation to the Airbus 'scandal', pointed to no evidence of wrongdoing against former President John Dramani Mahama. He says Mr Mahama subjected himself to the investigative bodies for all the years and has come out clean. Edudzi served notice that in the future when President Akufo-Addo and other officials of the government are also subjected to the same measure of accountability, no one should raise an issue of witch hunting.
"HE John Mahaam has subjected himself to the laws of this country, for almost 8 years he has lived in this country.
"I want to use your platform to say that let nobody, tomorrow, raises the question of witch-hunting if any relative past or present is invited.
"Can Akufo-Addo now subject himself to the level of scrutiny that they have subjected Mahama and his relatives? he said on the Key Points on TV3 on Saturday, August 10. The OSP after its investigations in the Airbus 'scandal' case disclosed that John Mahama was 'Government Official One' in the Airbus SE case.
