Dancehall star Shatta Wale has gone down memory lane, recounting how, by the tender age of 14, he had already saved GH¢750,000 stashed in his bank account.
In an episode of the Rants, Bants, and Confession podcast released on October 31, 2024, the On God hitmaker proudly shared that his father, a rich man, even handed him foreign currency for his daily spending. "I started saving at the age of 14 as a rich kid," he declared, clearly reveling in his lavish childhood. "I went to Prudential Bank at age 14 and told them I was 18 years old.
My father used to give me pounds and dollars as daily upkeep, so at age 14, I had seven hundred and fifty thousand cedis." "I was okay; I didn't have to buy anything because my dad was buying all my clothing," he added. "One day I drove to the bank myself to keep my money there, I was 14 but I told them I was 18" he shared.
