Godwin Edudzi Tameklo, Director, Legal Affairs, NDC
Director of Legal Affairs of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Godwin Edudzi Tameklo has objected to a comment by a Governance Expert Professor Baffuor Agyeman-Duah that nothing much will change even if the NDC wins the elections this year. Edudzi says that the flagbearer of the NDC, former President John Dramani Mahama is better placed under the circumstances to tackle the economic challenges. Professor Baffuor Agyeman-Duah, while making his comment that nothing much will change under the NDC, also indicated that if the NDC wins, they will have no option but to continue the ongoing programme with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the conditions attached to it. He said this while making an observation on the nature of democracy Ghana is practicing, on the Key Points on TV3 Saturday, August 10. To him, although democracy is good, the way and manner it is being done in Ghana has not been beneficial to Ghanaians.
